Since I just got the site up and running, I have something of a backlog of posts. That means updates are going to be a bit more frequent than usual; I'll be posting entries about Israel, which I visited first, interspersed with the UK, where I am now, and in no particular order. If you'd prefer not to get spammed, it might be a better idea to wait a couple of weeks for me to catch up and subscribe then.

It feels a little odd to be reflecting on my time in the United Kingdom without actually having posted much of anything about it yet, but in the interest of not falling farther behind and because I have time here at the airport, let's talk about my highs and lows of my time in the UK, as well as what I thought of the place overall.

Edinburgh is a great city for getting off ground-level. This post covers some of the up-high activities I undertook when I visited the city: visiting Edinburgh Castle, climbing Calton Hill and, finally, making the hike to the top of Arthur's Seat.
